I, George Brandt now residing at 1229 Montana Street, Chicago, Illinois., occupation Roofer, age 36 years, do declare on oath that my personal description is: Sex: Male, color: White, complexion: Fair, color of eyes: Blue, color of hair: Blond, height: 5 feet 5 inches; weight: 135 pounds; visible distinctive marks: none, race: German; nationality: German.  I was born in Calbe, Saale, Germany on February 21st. 1902.  I am married.  The name of my wife or husband is Martha.  We were married on August 18th, 1923 at Cable, Saale, Germany; she or he was born at Calbe, Saale, Germany, on October 29, 1904, entered the United States at New York, New York, on March 5th, 1926, for permanent residence therein, and now resides at with me.  I have 4 children, and the name, date and place of birth, and place of residence of each of said children are as follows: George born June 3rd, 1925 in Germany and resides in Chicago, Illinois.  Evelyn January 24th, 1930, Elfriede July 19th, 1932 and Walter Dec. 5th, 1933.  All born and reside in Chicago, Illinois.  I have heretofore made a declaration of intention: Number lost, on about Dec. 1925 at Chicago, Illinois, my last foreign residence was Calbe, Saale, Germany.  I emigrated to the United States of America from Hamburg, Germany, my lawful entry for permanent residence in the United States was at New York, New York under the name of Georg Brandt, on October 5, 1925 on the vessel SS.
