Services for Katherine DiMuro, 81, will be held at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, at Strang Funeral Chapel and Crematorium, 410 E. Belvidere Road, Grayslake. Interment will follow in Fort Hill Cemetery, Round Lake. Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. today, at the funeral chapel. Born Sept. 25, 1923, in Sulsted, Denmark, to Peter and Helfred (nee Duus) Frandsen, she passed away Saturday, June 18, 2005, at Condell Medical Center in Libertyville. Katherine was a Round Lake Lioness and a member of the Italian-American Club of Lake County. She was the beloved mother of Bernard J. (Sandy) DiMuro of Alexandria, Va., Peter DiMuro of Washington, D.C. and Donna (Paul) Watras (nee DiMuro) of New York, N.Y.; loving grandmother of Sienna; sister of Marion Blair; sister-in-law of Marie Frandsen; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Bernard P. DiMuro; three brothers; and a sister. For information, 847-223- 8122.”
