Mary V. Heggeland
   Mary V. Heggeland, 82, 1701 Highview Ave., McHenry, died in her residence Thursday, March 7, 1985. She was born in Chicago Dec. 31, 1902.
   A resident of the area the past 30 years, Mrs. Heggeland was a member of the McHenry Senior Citizens Club and had been a clerk for the John Plaine Co., Chicago.
   In June, 1922, she married Alf Heggeland, who survives. Also surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Robert (Loraine) Shinkle of Seattle, Wash.; two grandchildren; four great-grandchildren and five brothers.
   A sister and a brother preceded her in death.
   Visitation and services were private for the family and arrangements were made by the George R. Justen & Son Funeral Home.”

   Announcement has been made of the marriage of Miss Geraldine Heggeland and Perry Dean Bower, which took place in Chicago at 1 p. m. Saturday, Aug. 5, at St. Thomas Reformed church.
   The ceremony was witnessed by a small group of relatives and friends. Later a wedding dinner was served.
   The bridegroom is a brother of Miss Drusilla Bower, 901 1/2 South Allin street. He was formerly a resident of McClean county, the son of Mr. and Mrs. James Bower of Stanford. For a number of years he has been in the railway mail service, with his headquarters in Chicago.
   The couple will be at home to friends at 1627 Humboldt boulevard, Chicago.”
