According to the Chicago Tribune (Chicago IL) Tuesday, November 29, 1938, page 12:

“Mrs. Katherine Hyldahl,
Hit by Street Car, Dies
   Mrs. Katherine Hyldahl, 62 years old, widow of John Hyldahl, a commission merchant, died yesterday in Passavant hospital from injuries suffered last Wednesday when she was struck by a street car at Grand avenue and Peshtigo court.  Hyldahl died in 1934.  Mrs. Hyldahl, who lived at 1723 Albion avenue, operated cigar and candy concessions, including one in the Kraft Cheese company plant, 500 Peshtigo court.”

   Miss Anna C. Linden, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. P. H. Linden, was married Friday, April 19, to Mr. Hans Fritzen, both of Chicago.  The ceremony took place in Siloam’s Danish Church, which was charmingly decorated with roses and palms.  A bower was arranged to look like a small English chapel, with spring blossoms green palms, and Lillies of the Valley.  Through an aisle of apple blossoms and ferns, the bridal party passed to the improvised chancel, where Rev. I. M. Hausen performed the ceremony.  Mendelsohn’s wedding march sounded through the church, and the bridal party appeared, Mr. Fritzen, with Mr. A. L. Linden as best man, followed by the bride’s maids, Miss Bothilda Hansen, of Racine, and Miss Chrissina Rasmussen, of Chicago, and the two flower girls, Miss Petra Damgaard and Miss Marie Rasmussen.  Miss Anna Linden was attended by her brother H. H. Linden, who gave the bride away.  The bride was dressed in white organdy and carried bride’s roses.  Rev. I. M. Hausen, pastor of the church, conducted the services.  Following the ceremony, a reception was given to the newly wedded couple in the church basement.  About 300 guests were present to join in the festivities and wish the young couple long and happy lives.  Miss Anna Linden is well known in Neenah, having spent her summer vacation here a few years ago.  Mr. Fritzen is a brother of Miss Marie Fritzen, formerly of this city.”

“Mrs. Anna Fritzen
   Funeral services will be conducted Friday at 10 AM in the Tinkler Mission Chapel for Mrs. Anna C. Fritzen, 80, of 1505 West Terrace Avenue.
   Mrs. Fritzen died yesterday in a local rest home after a long illness.
   She was a native of Chicago and had lived in Fresno since 1908.
   She was a member of the Bethel Lutheran Church.
   Her survivors include two sons, Leonard L. and Vernon F. Fritzen, both of Fresno; a daughter, Mrs. Lillian E. Brown of Glendale; a sister, Mrs. Bessie Hyldahl of Round Lake, Ill., and four grandchildren.
   The Rev. Christian Justesen of the Bethel Lutheran Church will officiate at the last rites.  Burial will be in the Belmont Memorial Park.”

“Hyldahl
   Services for Mrs. Bessie Linden Hyldahl, 84, a former Chicago resident, will be held at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday in Round Lake Community Church, Round Lake.
   Mrs. Linden died Sunday at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Verna Bendull, 260 N. Cedar Lake Rd., Round Lake.
   She had lived in Round Lake for 21 years.
   She is survived also by a son, Ray, five grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
   Friends may call at MacGillis Funeral Home, Round Lake.  Interment will be in Fort Hill Cemetery.”
