According to the Chicago Tribune (Chicago IL) Friday, January 13, 1922, page 19:

“KAPPLE – Minnie Maurer Kapple, aged 44, beloved wife of Frank Kappel, at her home, 9533 Longwood drive, Wednesday, Jan. 11.  Funeral from residence at 3 p. m., Jan. 13.  Interment at Maitland, Mo.”

“Life-long Resident
of Grayslake, 79, Dies

   Mrs. William H. Smith, 79, a lifelong resident of the Grayslake vicinity, died at St. Therese’s hospital in Waukegan last Sunday.  Services were held Tuesday in the Grayslake Congregational church, with burial in Grant cemetery.  Surviving are her husband, six grandchildren, a great-grandson and a brother, Frank Kapple”

According to the Chicago Tribune (Chicago IL) Wednesday, September 24, 1941, page 30:

“KAPPLE – Frank Kapple, 9533 Longwood drive, husband of the late Minnie M., father of Mrs. Helen Iverson, Frank Jr., William H., and the late Ivan M. Kapple.  At chapel, 1971 W. 111th st., until Thursday morning.  Funeral at his late residence.  Thursday, September 25, at 9:30 a.m.  Interment Fort Hill cemetery, Round Lake, Ill.”

According to the Daily Herald (Chicago IL) Friday, September 26, 1941, page 11:

“We extend our deepest sympathy to Mr. and Mrs. William F. Kapple, of Clarendon st, on account of the death of Mr. Frank Kapple, of Beverly Hills, father of Mr. Kapple.  Mr. Kapple passed on to the Great Beyond September 22, and was laid to rest Thursday morning at Fort Hill cemetery, Round Lake, Ill.”
