Charles Graduated from Washburn Trade School, Chicago, Illinois with Majors in Automobile Mechanics, Animal Husbandry, and Meat Market Management. He worked very hard to save for his two farms.
Charles Purchased a Dairy Farm in Hancock, WI now run by his Daughter Teri and Husband Jeff Horacek, that joined a Farming coop to raise crops. We stayed over night and then drove on to Hawkins, WI to visit my brother’s grave (See photos) and then on to visit my nephew Charles and his family near Lake Seperior (sic), WI (see family photo).
Dorothy and I drove back to California with fond memories and many pictures of the family and over 5000 miles on the speedometer for the trip.
