PALMER CLAREN HAGEN
   Palmer Claren Hagen, 82, of Round Lake, passed away Friday, February 28, 1997 at the St. Therese Medical Center in Waukegan.
   He was born January 12, 1915 in Albert Lea, MN making his home in Round Lake since 1944, formerly of Mt. Carmel, IL.  He was a member of the Waukegan Musicians Union for over 20 years and a former band member of the “Golden Tones” which play throughout the Chicagoland area.
   Mr. Hagen retired in 1978 from the Frank G. Hough Co. in Libertyville.
   He leaves his wife, Pauline A. (nee Norrick) whom he married on May 27, 1937 in Mt. Carmel, IL., 2 daughters, Dixie Lee Pawlowski of Lindenhurst and Bonnie (Peter) Pedersen of Lake villa; a son, Lee (Carolyn) Hagen of Coppelt, TX and 7 grandchildren.
   He is preceded in death by his parents and 2 brothers.
   Funeral services were held at 10:00 AM on Monday, March 3, 1997 at the STRANG FUNERAL CHAPEL & CREMATORIUM, LTD., 410 E. Belvidere Rd., Grayslake, Il. 60030 with the Rev. Lisle J. Kauffman of the Calvary Presbyterian Church of Round Lake officiating.
   Interment followed at the Fort Hill Cemetery in Round Lake.  Friends of the family may visit at the Funeral Chapel from 6:00-9:00 PM.  Memorials may be given to the Church in his memory.”
