“Louise G. Morel – April 21, 1906 – Sept. 19, 2008 – MISHAWAKA – Louise G. Morel, 102, of Mishawaka, died Friday, September 19, 2008, in Fountainview Place.  She was born in Chicago, Illinois, on April 21, 1906, to Louis and Mary (Bauer) Helmboldt, who preceded her in death.  Louise married Michael J. More in Chicago on June 16, 1928, and he preceded her in death on November 23, 1972.  She was also preceded by her daughter, Mary Lou Bauder, and her husband, Calvin, in 2005.  Surviving are her son, Michael E. Morel of Woodstock, Georgia; four grandchildren, James (Janice) Bauder, Cinda Bauder, Michael P. (Stephanie) Morel and Matthew (Brianna) Morel; and five great-grandchildren, Marc, Kristen, Hannah, Bailey and Emma.  Louise was a member of Peach Lutheran Church of Granger.  She was also a member of the Tea Time Club of Townhouses East.  Friends may visit with the family on Friday, September 26, 2008, in Bubb Funeral Chapel from 5-7 p.m. and one hour prior to services on Saturday.  Funeral services will be held in the funeral home at 2 p.m. Saturday, with Rev. Steven Mischke officiating.  Memorial contributions may be made to Peace Lutheran Church, 16791 Cleveland Road, Granger, IN 46530.”

“Edna R. Lejcar

   Edna R. Lejcar, 74, Wheatland, died Wednesday (December 25, 1985) at her son and daughter-in-law’s home in Camp Lake.
   The daughter of the late Louis and Mary (Bauer) Helmboldt, she was born April 6, 1911 in Chicago.
   She lived in Wisconsin since 1971.
   On Aug. 13, 1930, in Chicago, she married Laddie Lejcar.  He died in 1965.
   For 44 years she worked for Illinois Bell Telephone Co. and was a member of the Telephone Pioneers.
   Surviving are two sons, Robert, LaGrange, Ill., and James, Camp Lake; a sister, Louise Morel, Granger, Ind., and three grandchidlren.
   She was preceded in death by a sister, Mildred Kasper.
   The Strang Funeral Home, Antioch, Ill., is in charge of arrangements.”

Lejcar, beloved wife of the late Laddie; dear mother of Robert (Sue) and James (Joyce); fond sister of Louise Morel and the late Mildred Kasper; grandmother of three.  Funeral 10 a.m., Saturday at The Strang Funeral Home, 1055 Main St., Antioch, IL.  Interment Bohemian National Cemetery, Chicago.  Visitation 4 until 9 p.m. Friday.  Donations to Kenosha Hospice Alliance, 625 57th St., Kenosha, WI. 53140, appreciated.  395-4000.”
