According to the Chicago Tribune (Chicago IL) Saturday, January 7, 1950, page 21:
“Mrs. William Hironimus
Mrs. Agnes Hironimus, 62, wife of Police Chief William Hironimus of Round Lake, Lake county, died yesterday in St. Therese hospital, Waukegan. Mrs. Hironimus was born in Volo and lived all her life in Lake county. Surviving besides her husband are a son, Chester; her parents, Mr. and Mrs. William Dunnill, and three grandchildren. Services will be at 2 p. m. Monday at the Strang chapel, Grayslake, with burial in Fort Sill (sic) cemetery, Grayslake.”
