“According to the Vidette-Messenger of Porter County (Valparaiso IN) Thursday, April 2, 1992, page 2:

“Eugene Macey
   LAKELAND, Fla, – Eugene Macey, 68, of Lakeland, Fla, formerly of Valparaiso, died Monday, March 30, 1992, at home.
   He was born Jan. 20, 1924, in Chicago, the son of Thomas and Dolly (Neice) Macey Sr.
   A resident of Lakeland for 3 1/2 years, he was employed in lawn maintenance.
   He was married to Nancy Macey, who survives.
   Also surviving are four sons, Michael and Robert, both of Florida, Danny of Arkansas and Dennis of Alabama; four daughters, Carol Hoeldt and Diane Smith, both of Alabama, Nancy Kristianson and Cynthia Macey, both of Florida; 17 grandchildren; and a great-grandchild.
   Services are 10 a.m. Saturday at Lakeland Memorial Gardens; visitation 6-8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.”
