“Nina J. ‘Glover’ Bravi

   MONTICELLO – Nina J. “Glover” Bravi, 71, of 1310 Frances St. died at 3:35 a.m. today in St. Elizabeth Hospital, Lafayette.
   Born July 20, 1919, in Kansas City, Kan., she was the daughter of Thomas and Mary Macey.  On July 4, 1953 in Fox Lake, Ill., she was married to William Thomas Potter, who died Oct. 14, 1974.  On Oct. 10, 1987 in Monticello, she was married to Rigo J. Bravi, who survives.
   She had lived in the Monticello area 15 years, moving from Chicago and had been employed by Luchtman Concessions at Indiana Beach.  Surviving are five daughters, Mary Lou Cruk, Alsip, Ill., Charlotte Cruk, Boise, Idaho, Diane L. Sebalj, Redding, Calf., Nina A. Applegate, Reynolds, and Debbie J. Applegate, Monticello; five sons, William T. Potter, Fayette, Tenn., James B. Potter, Nashville, Tenn., Lewis W. Potter, Vienna, VA., Samuel C. Bravi, Bristol, Fla., and Harold Bravi, Monticello; two brothers, Thomas Macey, California, and Eugene Macey, Lakeland, Fla.; and 22 grandchildren.
   One sister preceded in death.
   Friends may call from 4 to 9 p.m. Friday in Miller-Voorhis Funeral Home.
   There will be no services.  The body will be cremated.
   Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.”

“Eugene Macey
   LAKELAND, Fla. – Eugene Macey, 68, of Lakeland, Fla., formerly of Valparaiso, died Monday, March 30, 1992, at home.
   He was born Jan. 20, 1924 in Chicago, the son of Thomas and Dolly (Neice) Macey Sr.
   A resident of Lakeland for 3 ½ years, he was employed in lawn maintenance.
   He was married to Nancy Macey, who survives.
   Also surviving are four sons, Michael and Robert, both of Florida, Danny of Arkansas and Dennis of Alabama; four daughters, Carol Hoeldt and Diane Smith, both of Alabama, Nancy Kristianson and Cynthia Macey, both of Florida; 17 grandchildren; and a great-grandchild.
   Services are 10 a.m. Saturday at Lakeland Funeral Home; burial at Lakeland Memorial Gardens; visitation 6-8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.”
