Harriet Marofske was born Nov. 5, 1930, in Chicago, the daughter of Harry W. and Ethel Swanson Marofske. She married Robert A. Bailey, Nov. 10, 1951, in Irving Park, Ill.
She had worked as an executive secretary for the vice president of sales at Abbott Laboratories, North Chicago, Ill. She retired in 1979.
Harriet enjoyed doing arts and crafts and traveling.
Survivors include her sons, Michael A. Bailey, Rock Island, and Richard T. Bailey, Antioch, Ill”
