“LeRoy Morley, 83, of Round Lake, died Wednesday, July 23, 2008 at his home.  He was born on March 5, 1925 in Chicago, to William and Marie Morley.  He was a member of IBEW Local 150 electrical union and a World War II veteran of the Coast Guard, serving his country at the invasion of Normandy.  He is survived by his wife of 62 years, Arlene (nee Bracher), whom he married October 26, 1946 in Round Lake; LeRoy is also survived by his children, Gregory (Debbie) of Lake Villa, James (Carinne) of Antioch, Lee of Ingleside, Michael (Elaine) of Lake Villa, and Sharon (Roger) Abbott of Avon; 16 grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren.  He was preceded in death by his parents; daughter-in-law, Jae Cee; a brother, Richard; three sisters, Ruth, Bernice and Gladys; and an infant grandson, Brian.  Friends of the family may visit Saturday, August 2, 2008 from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the memorial service at 11:00 a.m. at STRANG FUNERAL CHAPEL & CREMATORIUM, 410 EAST BELVIDERE ROAD, GRAYSLAKE, IL 60030.  Memorial contributions may be made to the American Lung Association, 3000 Kelly Lane, Springfield, IL 62711-6226.  For information, call 847-223-8122 or visit www.strangfuneral.org.”
