According to the Daily Sentinel (Woodstock IL) Monday, February 19, 1962, page 3:

   “Funeral Services Saturday for McHenry Resident – McHENRY – Funeral services for Mrs. Helen Mumme, 81, of 2905 S. River road, McHenry, who died Thursday in West Suburban hospital, Oak Park, followed a lingering illness, were held at 2 p.m. Saturday in the MacGillis funeral home at Round Lake with burial in Fort Hill cemetery.
   She was born Nov. 23, 1880, in Germany and came to the United States in 1947.  She had resided in this area for 11 years.
   Survivors include three daughters, Mrs. Marie Schmicker, Burlington, Iowa, Mrs. Louise Holle, Franklin Park, and Mrs. Lena Korell, Hamburg, Germany; two sons, Rudolf, McHenry, and Otto, Germany; five grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren; and a brother in Germany,”

According to the Chicago Tribune (Chicago IL) Saturday, February 17, 1962, page 44:

“MUMME – Helen Mumme, dear mother of Marie Schmicker, Louise Holle, Lena Korell, Otto, and Rudolf; loving grandmother of five; great-grandmother of seven; fond sister of Wilhelm Pretz.  Services Saturday, 2 p. m., at MacGillis Funeral Home, Round Lake, Ill.  Interment Fort Hill cemetery.”
