According to the Chicago Tribune (Chicago IL) Sunday, September 26, 1954, page 180:

“ROUND LAKE COUPLE TO MARK 50TH YEAR WITH DINNER FRIDAY – Mr. and Mrs. William Swanquist, Round Lake, will celebrate their golden wedding Friday with a dinner and reception Austin Fine Arts club, 80 N. Parkside av.  Present at the festivities will their daughter, Mrs. Alice Teed, Elmhurst, and a son, Charles, 6003 Henderson st. and four grandchildren.  Swanquist retired as a forge department foreman from International Harvester company where he was employed 38 years.  Before moving to Round Lake, the Swanquists made their home on the northwest side.”

According to the Chicago Tribune (Chicago IL) Monday, December 11, 1961, page 77:

“Swanquist – William I. Swanquist, beloved husband of Charlotte, nee Seynemeier; dear father of Alice Teed, Charles, and the late Vern; fond grandfather of four; two great-grandchildren; brother of Laura Hansen, Walter, Carrie Bril, and the late Lula Buchmann, Anna Raymond, and Helma Nelson.  Services Monday, Dec. 11, 2:30 p. m., at Matz Funeral Home, 3440 N. Central avenue.  Interment Eden.”

“Charlotte Swanquist – Services for Charlotte Swanquist, 79, of 3 N 571 Central Court Addison, were held Hune 22 in the Richert and Son Chapel in Addison, with interment in Eden Cemetery in Schiller Park.  She was born in Auburn, N Y Dec. 22, 1883 and died in Elmhurst Memorial Hospital June 19.  Her husband, Willia, preceded her in death in 1961.  Also one son, one brother and one sister.  She leaves one son, Charles of Round Lake, one daughter, Alice Teed of Addison; four grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, one brother, Charles Seynemeier; and two sisters: Caroline Hohnsen of McHenry and Frances Johnson of Elmhurst.”

“Alice Francis Teed of Palatine
   Funeral services for Alice Francis Teed, 90, will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, May 31, at Hultgren Funeral Home, 304 N. Main St., Wheaton, with the Rev. Ronald Teed officiating.
   Born May 13, 1910 in Chicago, she died Wednesday, May 24, 2000, at Lexington Health Care Center in Lake Zurich.  Interment will be in Eden Memorial Park Cemetery, Schiller Park, following the services.
   Mrs. Teed had been employed by Union Oil Company as a key punch operator.
   Surviving are her son, Ronald Teed of Wheaton; and grandchildren, Barbara, Greg, Mark, Zachary, Jacob, Sarah and Hannah.
   She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Teed.
   Visitation will be from 3 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, at the funeral home.
