According to the Chicago Tribune (Chicago IL) Saturday, October 12, 1968, page 60:

“North Suburb Student Dies in Car Crash

   James Tobias, 17, of 212 Elder st., Round Lake Park, a high school student, died early yesterday in St. Therese hospital, Waukegan, of injuries suffered shortly before when a car in which he was a passenger left Rollins road west of Grub Hill road, south of Round Lake, and crashed into two trees.
   The driver, Donald W. Brown, 20, of 534 Grandview dr., Round Lake Park, was charged with a suspended license for appearance Oct. 9 in Lake county Circuit court at Waukegan.  He was treated in the same hospital for minor injuries and released.”
