According to the Billings Gazette (Billings MT) Thursday, April 21, 1960, page 18:

“Aged Billings Woman Dies
   Mrs. Jessie Beatrice McAuley, 88, of 620 Central Ave., died in a local hospital Wednesday of infermitles of age.
   She was born in Forest City, Iowa, Aug. 3, 1871, a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Homer Cook, and moved to Detroit Lakes, Minn., where she married to Bennie Eaman on Jan. 1, 1890.  She married John McAuley in 1906 in Devils Lake, N.D.
   She is survived by a son, Homer C. Eaman of Minot, N.D., and four daughters, Mrs. A. D. Morey of Minot, Mrs. A. E. Weigand of Round Lake, Ill; Mrs. J. B. Roche of Studio City, Calif., and Mrs. H. W. Dahrling of the home address.  Other survivors include a sister, Mrs. Emma Rudolph of Detroi Lakes, 17 grandchildren, 26 great grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren.
   Funeral services are planned at 2:30 p.m. in Thursday in Smith’s Funeral chapel and burial will be in Sunset Memorial Gardens.”

“Mrs. Hansen

   POPLAR – Mrs. Andrew Hansen, 59, of Wolf Point died May 1 at Community Hospital in Wolf Point.
   She was born Aug. 21, 1912 in Weaton, N.D., attended high school in Minot, N.D., and received nurse’s training at St. Joseph’s Hospital there.
   She married Hansen July 13, 1935, at Fessenden, N.D., and they moved to Wolf Point where she was superintendent of the Community Hospital from 1947 until 1949 until 1951, and then worked again at the Wolf Point hospital until July 1971.
   Survivors include the widower of Wolf Point, a daughter, Mrs. Douglas Lloyd of San Antonio, Tex.; a step-daughter, Mrs. Edwin Jensen of Wolf Point; a step-son, James Hansen of Astoria, Ore.; a sister, Mrs. Merle Anderson of Fullerton, Calif.; and nine grandchildren.
   Rosary will be recited at 7 p.m. Wednesday at Clayton Memorial Chapel of Wolf Point.  Services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at Immaculate Conception Church with the Rev. Michael Guinan officiating.  Burial will be at Greenwood Cemetery.”

   Homer C. Eamon of Powell, Wyo., and Vera M. Jones of Cody, Wyo., were married by the Rev. George D. Wolfe yesterday evening.  They were accompanied by Mrs. Ida M. Jones, mother of the bride and by John C. Swift.  They will make their home at Powell where the groom is the proprietor of a clothing store.”;

According to the Casper Star-Tribune (Casper WY) Monday April 7, 1980, page 15:

 “Homer C. Eamon
   POWELL – Services for Homer C. Eaman, 83, will be held at 10 a.m. Monday in Crown Hill Cemetery.  Mr. Eaman died Thursday in a Denver nursing home.
   He was born in Minnesota.  In 1925 he married Ruch C. Caldwell in Denver.  She died in 1976.  He served in the Merchant Marine during WW II and was a member of the American Legion and VFW.
   In the 1920s and 1930s he operated a restaurant in Powell.  Eaman and his wife moved to Denver in 1941, where he worked as a salesman until he retired.
   Survivors include a son, Richard, of Arvada, Colo., and three grandchildren.
   Easton Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.”

“Iola Dahrling

   Mrs. Iola Necile Dahrling, 58, wife of Harry W. Dahrling, 620 Central Ave., died of cancer Tuesday in a Billings hospital.  She had been in ill health for over five years.
   She was born Jan. 8, 1911 at Detroit Lakes, Minn., a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John McAuley.  She moved with her parents to Minot, N. D., and was married there in January 1931.
   Mr. and Mrs. Dahrling came to Billings in 1934 and lived here since.   She was a member of United Methodist Church.
   Survivors include the widower and a son, Joel, at home; four step-children, Mrs. Jerry Ollendick, 3120 3rd Ave. 2., Jane Ann Ollendick, Jill Dahrling, Ollendick and Marri Chris Ollendick, all of 620 Central Ave.; two sisters, Mrs. Gwen Morey, Minot Mrs. Julius Beasley, Los Angeles; a half-brother, Home C. Eaman, Rock Springs, Wyo.; and five grandchildren.
   Funeral services will be 1:30 p.m. Friday at Smith’s Funeral Chapel with Dr. Vern L. Klingman of First United Methodist Church officiating.  Burial will be in Sunset Memorial Gardens.”

“Mrs. Abe Weigand Dies in Illinois

   Mrs. Abe Weigand died on Jan. 9 at St. Therese Hospital, Waukegan, Ill. following a short illness.
   She was born in Detroit Lakes, Minn. July 18, 1894 and moved to North Dakota to begin teaching school in 1910.
   She married Abraham E. Weigand on April 2, 1911 at Bowdon, N. D. She is survived by her husband, a son Duane of Grayslake, Ill., 3 daughters, Mrs. Andrew (Leora) Hanson, Wolf Point, Mont., Mrs. Virgil (Neva) Herold of Proctor, Minn. and Mrs. Merle (Betty) Anderson, Round Lake, Ill. One son preceded her in death. Also surviving are one brother, Homer C. Eamon or Rock Springs, WYo.; three sisters, Mrs. Gwen Morey of Minot; Mrs. Naomi Beasley of Hawthorne, Calif. and Mrs. Iola Dahling, Billings, Mont. and 5 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild.
   Funeral services were held on Jan. 12 at the Round Lake Community Church. The Rev. Mr. T. S. Buchmueller officiated. Burial was at Fort Hill Cemetery, Round Lake.
   Pallbearers were five former neighbors from North Dakota who now reside in Ill; George Olafson, John Grant, Leland Suckut, Harold Seil and Lloyd Erfle and a neighbor, C. E. Barcome.
   Mrs. Weigand had been a school teacher in North Dakota for 27 years and had taught in the Round Lake Consolidated Schools in Round Lake for 8 years.
   Mr. and Mrs. Weigand moved to Round Lake after her retirement from teaching in North Dakota.”
