 “JENSEN – Jens Christian Jensen of 5008 Fletcher street, beloved husband of Anna Marie, nee Thompson; dear father of James, Viola, Carla, Thomas, and Esther, grandfather of eight grandchildren.  Services Saturday 2 p. m. at funeral home, 3301 Fullerton avenue.  Interment Mount Emblem.  Member of D. B. S., No. 140.”

Funeral Held for James Jensen

   James  D. Jensen, 62, a Lake Geneva resident for the past 17 years and a former resident of  Wauconda, IL died Friday, June 26, 1998.
   He was born July 31, 1935 in Chicago, the son of J.B. and Evelyn Petersen Jensen.
   He was the owner of J. B. Enterprise, Inc., Fox Lake, IL, a business that was originated by his father.  He was an avid golfer and was a longtime member of the Thursday night men’s league at the Pistakee Golf Club.  He also was a longtime pilot and well known boater in the Chain of Lakes area.
   He was a graduate of Grant Community High School and later entered Purdue University.  He served in the United States Army.
   He is survived by his wife, Pam Nordstrom Jensen; two sons, Danielt T. and Christian D., both of Lake Geneva; five daughters, Karen Burgue, Safety Harbor, FL, Mary Jill Jensen, Burlington, Susan Jensen, Wauwatosa, Anne Jensen, Madison, and Britt Jensen, Lake Geneva; two grandsons; and one sister, Marcia Bein, Osage Beach, MO.  He was preceded in death by one sister, Linda Nolan.
   Funeral services were held at the K. K. Hamsher Funeral Home, Fox Lake, Tuesday, June 30, with Rev. Al Langbough officiating.  Burial was in Hillside Cemetery, Genoa City.  The family suggested memorials to the American Cancer Society or a scholarship fund at Badger High School.”

   “LINDA KATHLEEN NOLAN, 51, died Nov. 9, 1997, at her home in Divide.  She was the proprietor of the Whistle Stop Tavern in Divide.  Mrs. Nolan was born Jan. 28, 1946, in Chicago.  She is survived by a daughter, Katherine L. Morgan; a brother James Douglas Jensen, a sister, Marcia M. Bein; a special friend, Brian W. Marshall; and three grandchildren.
   Memorial services will be from 5 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at the Whistle Stop Tavern, on Highway 24 in Divide.  Cremation by Rocky Mountain Undertakers, 218 N. Seventh St., 632-4424, is planned.”

“Carla Morgan
 formerly of Libertyville
   Funeral services for Carla Morgan, 91, will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, at the Burnett-Dane Funeral Home, 120 W. Park Ave. (Route 176), Libertyville.
   Born Aug. 23, 1911, in Denmark, the daughter of James and Anna Marie Jensen, she passed away Tuesday, Nov. 26, 2002, in Kalamazoo, Mich.  Interment will be in Lakeside Cemetery following the services.
   Carla’s parents moved the family to the Chicago area in 1917, when she was six.  She was a resident of Libertyville for 43 years, prior to moving to Kalamazoo.  She met Adrion Morgan at a Tea Shop in Chicago and they were married July 7, 1934.  She and her husband were the owners of the Young Moderns children’s clothing store on Milwaukee Ave. in Libertyville for 20 years, prior to their retirement in 1984.
   Carla enjoyed her flower gardens, playing bridge, was a talented seamstress and is remembered for her holiday family gatherings.  She was a member of the Libertyville Garden Club for many years and the Libertyville Presbyterian Church.
   Survivors include her children, Sally (Mike) Schmidt of Libertyville and Kent (Susan) Morgan of Kalamazoo; grandchildren, Diane (David) Carpenter, Julie (Ray) Jilik, Michael (Robin) Schmidt, Jay Schmidt, and Jennifer, Lindsay and Rachel Morgan; sister-in-law, Betty Morgan; six great-grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews and friends.
   For 52 years she was married to Adrion, who preceded her in death in 1986.  In 1995, at the age of 83, she married Robert Van Putten in Kalamazoo, who preceded her in death in 1988.  She was also preceded in death by her brothers, James and Tom Jensen; sisters, Viola Davis and Esther Korrison; and her parents.
   Visitation will be from 9 a.m. until the time of services at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, at the funeral home.  Memorial contributions may be made to Lakeside Cemetery Renovation Fund, P.O.
