  • Father: Paul F. Oehme born May 1872 in Germany; immigrated in 1894; married Anna Glauch about 1895; Paul died November 9, 1950 in Cook County, IL; According to the Chicago Tribune (Chicago IL) Sunday, November 12, 1950, page 46:

“OEHME – Paul F. Oehme of 5634 Winthrop ave., passed on Nov. 9, loving husband of the late Anna G. Lauch Oehme, loving dad of Marguerite Ohme, Gladys Hughes, and the late Gaylord Oehme.”

“MRS. PAUL F. OEHME
   Private services for Mrs. Anna G. Oehme, 74, a resident of Chicago for 69 years, who died Friday, were held yesterday.  Her home was at 5634 Winthrop av., where she had lived for 43 years.  She leaves her husband, Paul F.; two daughters, Marguerite and Mrs. Gladys Hughes, and five grandchildren.”

   “OEHME – Gaylord Paul Oehme of Round Lake, Ill., Dec. 23, 1945, beloved husband of Helen Simpson Oehme, father of Kathryn, Barbara, Nancy, and Dale, beloved son of Paul and Anna Oehme, brother of Gladys Hughes and Marguerite Oehme, uncle of Gaylord and the late Milford and Jimm Hughes.  Services at Round Lake, Ill., Wednesday, Dec. 26, 2 p. m.”
